Yipee! It’s time for me to take my little breaky break break for spring market. TheManoftheHouse is going to be brave and hold down the fort here while I get to go have fun with the Gulls. I leave in the morning and I’ll be gone for about 10 days ’cause I plan to take a little extra time and visit family and PLAY. Sadly, I won’t appear on PKM radio as I don’t blog while I’m gone. I don’t have an iPad and I don’t want to have to worry about a laptop (I think I’ve mentioned that I had one stolen on a trip once and I’m scarred for life!) I’ll take lots of pictures though, and there will be LOTS to report when I return.
Before I go, I wanted to pass on a very exciting tidbit. A few weeks ago, Susan who blogs at Fort Worth Fabric Studio contacted me and asked if they could use the pictures of my Ghastlies quilts for an upcoming post. That post is up now and guess what GUESS WHAT????
Eeeeek!!! How exciting!!! I’m hoping to see the new prints at market.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go ogle the Miss Airport 2011 calendar and decide which pose will be most appropriate for me tomorrow when I go through the airport scanner!

Too funny. I had to go through the xray on my way back from TX. They searched through my bag that had all these antique camera’s I bought to display in my husband’s office.
Loved seeing the Ghastlies make a reappearance. I hope I can get my hands on some this year. I’m going to be looking and asking some of my local quilt stores to carry it.

Have fun and can’t wait to get all the reports back from market. I think it’s good not to take your laptop because then you can concentrate on having fun and seeing lots of stuff and not be worrying about what is happening everywhere else.

Enjoy your time at Spring Market. As for the scanner pose, I don’t have a preference however, are you sure you want to wear your stilettos? Airports are not known for short cuts, your feet will be in pain. That’s not fun while you’re at market! ;o) Have a fun and safe trip!
I’m back! I’ve been thinking about the whole scanner thing! Maybe they ought to hire a Doctor to diagnose for possible health problems. Kind of a customer service bonus! My brother in law is/was part of the scanner project. Makes for interesting dinner conversations! Cheers!

I agree with some of the others. I wouldn’t mind having a tech of some kind in that little room. If they’re looking, they might as well let you know if something catches their eye that you ought to have checked out. It’s just a thought… I mean, if they’re looking at everything anyway.
