Hello!
My name is Anna. I live in Northern Indiana, USA. I learned how to sew when I was around 9 years old. I also learned how to knit and crochet around that time. Embroidery came a little earlier, maybe around 7 years old. I used to love to embroider on flour sack towels and pillow cases. I love all things domestic — sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, embroidering, cooking, reading, etc. I’m very athletic — just look at all those activities. ;-)
And just so you don’t think my life is all sports, I’m pretty attached to all the people you see over there in the ThimbleAnnaLand Cast. I have two grown boys. TheFirstChild is married to SweetiePie and they are just starting his medical residency. TheSecondChild just completed his MBA and is living the single life! I’m a software engineer by day. The job supports my sewing habits, but the real me is listed in the first paragraph. I started this little blog to keep a record of some of my projects and activities. It’s also a file cabinet for some things I want to remember. And most importantly, a place to meet new friends!
