A New Kitty

Well Hello!  Did all you kids in the US have a nice long weekend?  We had a wonderful time with TheSecondChild and his very sweet friend.  We had friends and family over for a cookout and had lots of fun.  And there was some oohing and aahing over his new little kitty too.  Meet Mufasa.  Moofie for short.

moofie

Moofie is 4 months old and cute as can be.  A little ferocious too — he gave Scruff and Paul a run for their money.  Needless to say, there was a lot of hissing.

Other than that, there’s not much new to report.  I made a quick birthday banner for a co-worker’s computer.  I tested it out on our computer tonight.  Would it cheer you up to see that little banner on your computer at work?  I made it from fabric scraps, diluted glue and some divine twine.  Speaking of which, I’ve added black and orange to my little store — just in time for Halloween (a-a-and it’s still on sale).

Birthday Banner

Did you see the cool new google page today? Those dancing balls were fun to play with. There was lots of speculation about what they meant — I read somewhere this morning that google said it was not to celebrate their birthday. I also read that some people think they’ll have a big announcement at some convention tomorrow. I love google!

Ok — must run and watch the end of Neal Caffrey Eye Candy White Collar.  Have a good week!

XOXO,
Anna

  1. What a lovely kitty! She seems to be spunky; good for her. And the birthday banner! I’m sure the Birthday girl or boy was delighted!

  2. The little banner is just adorable! I love the kitty, very pretty and sounds like it is able to defend itself too, must be like our old Meggy, she doesnt let anyone mess with her and she is 11 years old now.

  3. Yes, I would love to find a surprise banner like that – but since the only person round here likely to even know where the stuff would be to make one, I’d better do my own and surprise myself next year ;-)

I don’t know who Neal Caffrey is. I feel a google coming on …

  4. Hi Moofie, I can’t stop looking at that sweet picture of you!

Love the banner! I guess I would have to make one myself. Being self-employed and working alone sometimes feels so lonesome… LOL!

  5. Had a cracking time playing with Google yesterday and if you moved the mouse just so it was possible to make it read ‘ogle’! Today’s is less fun but just as odd.

  6. Awww, that’s such an adorable kitty. And that banner is great, if I saw it on my computer in the morning my whole day would lighten up :-)

  7. Love the banner!

Can’t imagine bringing another cat into the house. They have kittens at Jaxon’s preschool. When Jaxon has been petting them Artemis follows him around with his nose an inch from Jaxon’s body and his mouth half open. He thinks he’s a lion.

  8. Well HELLO KITTY!…you are just as cute as you can be…and so is that cute tiny little banner.
And yes, I would be cheered if it was on my screen.
    So sweet of you!

  13. that’s a very pretty kitty , we used to have 5 but are down to just one now – through old age and illness I kight add. I love White Collar – hub gets it for me :-)

  14. Cutest kitten! I’m so tempted, sometimes, to get a little friend for El Pussygato, but am afraid a major cat brawl might break out—the king might not want to share his throne!

  15. Mufasa is adorable–are all your kitties males? I’ve been watching White Collar; I guess that eye candy drew me in ’cause it isn’t the plot.

  16. Hi Anna
Your new kitty is so cute! we have a little gray striped kitty, Starbuck. Love your name for him, I’m sure he’ll grow into it.
    The computer banner is inspired!

  17. Love the kitty…and the name! We’re serious Lion King fans in our house. Love White Collar too…but was very sad at the end of the season finale!

  18. Mufasa is adorable!! He will mellow in about a year. Pavi is finally mellowing. And yes, little party banners would certainly brighten my day!

  19. Moofie is such a cutie. Do his eyes have that little bit of sadness is real life, or is it just the picture? Speaking of cute, that birthday banner is adorable. I would be very happy to see that banner on my computer at work!

  20. Well, Moofie looks just gorgeous! Morty was 4 months old when I adopted him. He is still very much ‘his own man’…but gosh! I do love him!

  21. I love White Collar!! Didn’t like the shooting at the end of this last episode… sad!!

The banner is a really cute idea!! Have to borrow it sometime!

And… who can resist such a cute Kitty with such an adorable name.

    PS I’m baaaaaaaaack!!

  22. What a cute little kitty!! Did he just come to visit or is this a new addition to your house!?

Love to watch cats play the “getting to know you” game :)
